Hello, this is Ron.
In this blog, “Future Atlas by Ron,” I write realistic travel diaries of the places I have visited based on my experience of traveling to more than 15 countries, as well as my impressions and insights from my travels.
I usually travel on my days off while working full time in Tokyo, and I am active in my efforts to share the charm of international travel with everyone.
A must for those who want to find bargains at local supermarkets during their stay in Guam! This article introduces the 24-hour Kmart, which is easily accessible from hotels. It provides a realistic report on the souvenirs and recommended items actually bought, as well as a look inside the shop.

Easy access from the Tumon area, about 10 minutes by car. It is also a 5-minute drive from the airport. You can also rent a car or take the red shuttle bus.
The first thing that struck me when I arrived was just how spacious the place is!
The shop is crammed full of products and offers everything from daily necessities, toys, cosmetics, beach goods, souvenirs and outdoor items.
Another attraction of Kmart is that you can buy at local prices, rather than tourist prices.
- The huge warehouse-like space that opens up as you pass through the entrance.
- There is a wide variety of categories, from souvenirs for tourists to daily necessities, stationery, clothing and toys used by locals.
- There is also a well-stocked food corner and many snacks and drinks.
- The atmosphere is bright and safe even late at night, making it convenient for night-time shopping if you have a rental car.
🛍 Purchased Items

This time, we are looking for ‘Guam’s typical sundry souvenirs’.
1) Frangipani hairpin ($3)
White and yellow tropical flower “frangipani” pin. Petit-price and recommended as a souvenir.
2) Dole dried mango ($3.99)
A classic souvenir. 7D dried mangoes are famous in South East Asia, but this was my first time seeing Dole dried mangoes, so I bought them out of curiosity. The balance of sweetness and sourness is good and the bag is compact.
3) Mr Brown Macadamia Nut Iced Coffee
This canned coffee has a slightly savoury nutty flavour. The tropical flavor goes up dramatically when drunk chilled!
4) Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen (SPF70)
Super high SPF type not seen in Japan. A reassuring ally in the fight against intense UV rays. However, it is also highly irritating to the skin, so be careful not to apply too much to
